# `getHighestSnapshotSlot`

Returns information for the highest slot that the node has a snapshot for. This method uses [160 credits](/services/get-started/pricing/) from your daily balance.

This will find the highest full snapshot slot, and the highest incremental snapshot slot based on the full snapshot slot, if there is one.

`result` - An object with the following fields:

- `full`: - The highest full snapshot slot encoded as a `u64` integer.
- `incremental`: The highest incremental snapshot slot derived from the full snapshot.
